Sometimes I feel my world is breaking down...
This is a very metaphoric piece for me,it's a piece about fragility,about how easily we break down and how our own concepts and ideas hurt us. I hate to describe my works but I feel this one needs it ,so here we go....
Winter solstice is a state of mind.
Winter- frozen season ,stillness, peaceful death.
Solstice-longest night and shortest day, unbalance.
The bleeding flowerThe flower represents love disappointment,deeply implemented in our being that makes us bleed from the inside.
There are more symbols, but I don't feel like explaining them all.If something intrigues you feel free to ask.
Awarded with the first ever *Express--Yourself honorable mention by the judges of the Visions in Black and White Contest!
